Good for sellers.  The competition for selling your home is down by 11.4% overall.  There are 128 fewer active listings for January 2018 when compared to January 2017.  And the "new" listings overall are down 15.4%.  As you can see in this chart their are price points which are broken down by the number of sales, the number of active listings and the number of pending listings, as well as new listings.  

Buyers have fewer properties to choose from.  Will they buy from the current inventory or put their dreams on hold till new properties enter the market?  We shall see.
